Customer Groups in Comm-e (e-commerce)
Creating customer groups will help a lot when it would come to interact or promote. Groups will be easily identified with various criterial set during the development and hence the groups shall be auto managed in some cases. Creating groups will help majorly in the following ways to e-commerce administrators and owners.
- Enable promotions and make it easier. Promotions may be enabled only for certain types of customers. e.g. You may want a buy 3 at the pirce of 2 promotion to only apply to your retail customers.
- Send communications like new discount skims, fresh stock arrival, Latest model availability, new letters etc . You may send out bulk emails only to customers that belong to a particular customer group.
